Your journey into real estate investment

My journey into real estate investment began in financial advice before discovering Ravi on YouTube. Inspired, I purchased my first two investment properties in 2021 and have since acquired eight with my partner. Looking ahead, we aim to add four more properties this year, driven by our commitment to financial growth and strategic investments.

I helped identify the Townsville area before it started blowing up where over 150 of our clients have invested and has seen double digit growth for all of them.

Growing personal portfolio. I am learning to speak Korean. I am pretty active - go gym 4-5 times a week, have PT etc. Enjoy learning about various personal development methodologies - have spent a fair amount on various training on NLP, meditation etc. Love watching soccer to switch off - Liverpool in EPL are my team. 

My personal interests and hobbies directly contribute to my professional skills:

1. Growing a personal portfolio at a stage ahead of most clients allows me to strategise two to three steps beyond their current positions, providing valuable insights and foresight into potential investment opportunities

2. Engaging in fitness activities boosts my energy levels and mental clarity, helping be deliver outstanding results for our clients.

3. Practices like meditation cultivate a positive mindset, helping me navigate challenges effectively.

Vision and Future Goals

I see the end of <$500,000 good quality properties within the next 5 years. Affordability to get worse and worse in developing markets. Tokyo/LA/Shanghai etc. have a median house price that is 40x median income. Australia is only 10x and we are struggling - I think affordability is going to get a whole lot worse.

My goal is to have a portfolio of $5.5M by the end of FY24/25. I want to be on the right side of constant de-valuation of currency.

My goals for the next year include advancing my proficiency in Korean, sustaining physical fitness, and growing my personal property portfolio. Professionally, I aim to expand my knowledge base, continue to support the team with presenting great properties, and strengthen my leadership position within the team.
