Your journey into real estate investment

I have always had an interest in real estate. Around 10 years ago I had a personal training client that shared her story with me of how she grew her wealth through property investing and I have always wanted to do the same. When I moved to Sydney 10 years ago, I thought buying property in Aus was unrealistically expensive. Until I started working as a buyers agent almost 3 years ago and realised that if you look outside of Sydney, there is a massive opportunity to get into property at an affordable entry point. Once I started to buy in these areas and see the results we achieved, it sparked a passion to try and help as many people as possible create wealth through property investing.

Areas you are most knowledgeable

Over the years I have gotten really good at spotting a great opportunity. Whether it is negotiating and buying under market rate, or finding unique properties with potential to add value through developments. I feel like I think outside of the box to make sure we are finding ways of getting the best opportunities possible.

Achievements and client success stories

There are many stories of clients achieving incredible success, I have seen hundreds of clients gain 20-50% growth on the value of their properties in as little as 12 months. My best purchase to date is where the bank valuation of a property came back $50k over my purchase price directly over settlement, that was an instant 10% equity.

Personal philosophy and values

My personal approach is  my understanding of the power of a great investment and how it can impact someone's life. I take it very seriously as it is a make or break moment for someone's future. I pride myself on only securing the best of the best types of property where I wholeheartedly can see the property making an impact on the clients future financial security.

Honesty, integrity & Kindness. I feel like the industry has a bad rep and I have seen some dodgy dealings. I feel passionate about cutting through the BS of the Real Estate industry and helping people to understand the process in an honest and transparent way, whilst dealing with all parties of the purchase with honesty, kindness and respect.

Hobbies and interests

I live on the Northern beaches so most mornings I watch the sunrise at the beach. I love dancing, going to the gym, and generally being outdoorsy and active. On weekends I play golf/ tennis, hang at the beach, walk my pup, long lunches with friends and I love wineries.

I have always been very sporty, so I think this has made me healthily competitive but also a team player. I excelled in gymnastics to a high level when I was younger and I think the determination and hard work from that has carried through to my professional and personal life.

My career my whole life has always been around helping people. I used to work in the fitness industry and I know that helping others and making a difference is my biggest motivator in life. I feel like in this job we are massively making a difference to people’s lives and impacting their future for the better.

Vision and Future Goals

I can only see the future of Real Estate in Australia heading one way and that is up. More and more people from around the World want to live in Australia every year. With the population forecast and the house shortages, I think there is a huge amount of opportunity for investors in Aus. With the buyers agent industry growing, I believe it will make investing a lot more accessible for the everyday Aussie. So for me, I think, the sooner you can get into the market, the larger the runway of growth you will receive.

Personally I would love to buy a few investment properties in the next few years. I am very interested in buying projects where I can add value with small renovations/ subdivisions etc. 

Professionally, I would like to help as many people as possible realise the potential of property investing. I want to help people understand the jargon and break through some of the BS of the industry so it doesn't seem as overwhelming and unachievable.
